New
- List section index –
swiftui-26-refnow covers the A–Z index strip that iOS 26 adds to SwiftUI lists withsectionIndexLabel(_:)andlistSectionIndexVisibility(_:): where the label goes, when the strip appears, showing a letter that has no rows, and deriving each section’s letter withUILocalizedIndexedCollationso names in other languages and scripts file under the right section.higcovers when a list should have an index and keeps it clear of trailing row controls, hiding aNavigationLink’s chevron withnavigationLinkIndicatorVisibility(.hidden)so rows still push. sfsymbols– Covers the command-line tool inside the SF Symbols app: confirming that a symbol name exists before shipping it, when a symbol arrived on each platform and in each rendering mode, and exporting its artwork as SVG, PNG or PDF.sf-symbolsuses it to check whether a symbol supports Multicolor.
Updated
- Spacing and margins – Let the system choose: Apple publishes no iOS spacing scale, so omit the length for
padding, safeAreaPaddingand stack and grid spacing, and passniltocontentMargins, listRowInsetsand iOS 26’slistSectionMargins, which require the argument. A literal is for a design system’s own scale, an optical correction or a custom canvas, and Apple’s published figures, such as tvOS’s 60 and 80 pt content insets, are platform-specific. The change covershig,swiftui-layout-ref,swiftui-containers-refandswiftui-26-ref.
Fixed
- Prompt routing – Skill suggestions now skip prompts about Axiom itself, such as its routers, triggers or manifest, unless the prompt asks to use an Axiom skill.
