Halion radius test v2 — Windows only
The warning radius is now 50% larger than release 3.0.6, approximately 15.4% wider than test v1. This is a provisional visual buffer after the tester reported damage outside v1, not a measured server damage boundary. Coldflame is unchanged.
Extract Lau-Halion-Radius-Test-v2-Windows.zip completely, close WoW, open LauSetup.exe, select the existing client and click Apply Halion +50% test. Keep the payload folder beside the executable.
- Accepts original 3.0.6, test v1, or matching test v2 in all six editions.
- Existing v1 files are detected as an update, not already installed. The exact v2 files are a no-op.
- Only Halion ground-marker geometry and bounds change in the two installed Patch-Y archives. Other archive members, including Coldflame, remain identical to 3.0.6.
- Restore returns to the version present before this install, including v1 when upgrading from v1. Unknown modified Patch-Y files are rejected.
- No full client, models, maps or executable changes. No SDK or network download required; Windows .NET Framework 4.8 is required.
/pyversionremains 3.0.6; the window explicitly labels test v2 and checks actual archive hashes.
Validated on Windows: all six editions, base-to-v2 and v1-to-v2 upgrades, repeat no-op, one-byte drift rejection, exact rollback, archive member parity and installer window appearance. In-game boundary testing remains pending. Stable release 1.1.2 is unchanged; v1 remains available.
