PS5X360 v0.5.3-preview
Fixes game acceleration when emulated VSync is disabled with the automatic
frame limit. Automatic guest video pacing stays at 60 Hz; this does not promise
60 FPS. The limiter regression test and PS5 build passed; gameplay needs confirmation.
Improvements
-
Refined the game-library UI, cover-flow presentation, navigation and settings.
-
Improved support for Xbox 360 ISO disc images, alongside extracted XEX games
and GOD/STFS packages, with safer file reading and executable loading.
-
Added compatibility fixes across multiple games, including loading, memory
handling and version-matched patch selection. Compatibility still varies by title.
-
Fixed accidental acceleration when emulated VSync is disabled with the
automatic frame limit.
-
Added optional PS5-only AutoLog with reports after recorded session events.
AutoLog 1.0.7 update
Sends an automatic AutoLog activation check to the private channel, including
the initial log directory scan status. This checks the same HTTPS delivery path
without waiting for gameplay to finish. It does not prove game capture; game
reports still require a session event. Retries failed activation requests.
Retries both supported local FTP ports and uses CWD + LIST for directory
compatibility. A read failure now names the FTP stage and reply code. This
addresses collector access; it does not fix game crashes such as Midnight Club LA.
The console owner must still enable the existing FTP service.
Download and install
-
Download PPSA50011.zip, extract it, and copy the PPSA50011 folder to
/data/homebrew/on your PS5. Preserve existing games, saves and settings. -
Restart PS5X360 to use the update.
-
Optional: download PS5X360-AutoLog-v1.0.7-preview.elf, copy it to
/data/etaHEN/payloads/, and load it once per console boot.
AutoLog shares game diagnostic excerpts with the developer through HTTPS to a
private Discord channel. Keep Internet and the console FTP service (2121 or
- enabled. No PC collector is needed. If an older collector is already running, create
/data/homebrew/PPSA50011/no-log-upload, wait for its status to say stopped,
remove the marker, then load the new ELF. Replacing the file alone does not
update the running process. Reports require a recorded exit/crash
or a subsequent emulator session; quiet gameplay no longer triggers uploads.
Create /data/homebrew/PPSA50011/no-log-upload to disable it. Full reporting
instructions, corresponding AutoLog source and licenses are inside the ZIP.
No games, saves, BIOS or keys are included. Other firmware remains unverified.
