General
- Add a Search button to the settings toolbar (#750):
- Note: The search scope is local to the currently opened settings (it does not perform a global search across the entire settings). This approach was chosen to keep the app lightweight and fast, as a global search would require a massive architectural rewrite;
- Add settings to enable the proximity sensor when the alarm is triggered:
- Added settings in the "Alarms" and "Timers" sections;
- This replaces the old behavior (since version 2.32) where the proximity sensor was enabled by default;
- Enabling this setting prevents alarms and timers from being accidentally dismissed;
- Add a button to delete custom ringtones at once (#739);
- Change icons in the "Permissions management" settings;
- Remove the glow effect when scrolling through the app's lists (related to commit 4cef13c);
- Improve layouts;
Alarm
- Add the ability to open a link or an app after dismissing the alarm (#197);
- Add the ability to disable "Do Not Disturb" mode when alarm is triggered (#743):
- This involves granting a new permission to the app, which can be modified on the "Permissions Management" page;
- Add a Search button to the Alarm tab toolbar (#742);
- Improve alarm ringtone reliability in Direct Boot mode:
- Ensure system ringtones play correctly after a device restart, even when the "Random" option is selected;
- Cache system ringtones into the device's protected storage to bypass OS locks and MediaServer permission denials. This implies a slight increase in the app's data size;
- Fix the ringtone title display during Direct Boot (when the setting is enabled);
Clock
- Improve the search bar in the city selector:
- The filter remains applied when the device orientation changes;
- The state of the keyboard (open or closed) is also preserved;
- Fix the time zone for the city of Calgary (Canada);
