This release makes local corrections easier to manage and improves the reliability of editing, saving and Immich workflows.
Highlights
- Local corrections are now layers. Adjustments made to a selection appear as named layers that can be shown, hidden, renamed and reused. Older projects are updated automatically when opened.
- The layers panel is clearer. It now shows whether the adjustment controls apply to the whole image or to a correction layer.
- Closing the editor is safer. If there are unsaved changes, one clear dialog offers Save, Don't save and Cancel.
Improvements and fixes
- Crop, brush, retouch and clone tools now stay accurate after rotating, flipping, cropping or resizing an image.
- Projects, edited RAW files and viewer images open more smoothly without briefly showing the wrong image or an unfinished result.
- Adjustment previews refresh reliably, and settings or correction layers no longer carry over when moving to another photo.
- Object changes are recognised correctly, while simply switching the before/after view no longer creates a false unsaved-change warning.
- Saving is safer: formats that require conversion now use Save As, and Immich RAW files are protected from being replaced with rendered JPEG images.
- HSL adjustments and imported xmp presets produce more accurate colours, including on neutral greys.
- Glow, vignette and transparency effects render more reliably, and damaged LUT files no longer slow down the preview.
- Immich saves follow the currently selected photo and album correctly when navigating through the filmstrip.
- The repair brush is faster and several safeguards now prevent failed edits from leaving the image in an incomplete state.
- Objects can grow beyond the image. Image, shape and other overlay objects can now be enlarged past the image border, up to an edge length of 10,000 pixels.
- Collapsible tool bar. The editor's left tool bar can be collapsed to icons only, and the choice is remembered.
- Image objects in
.fpxprojects now keep their original file name in the layers panel after reopening.
