This is a patcher to update the original v1.0.0 release to v1.1.2. Version 1.0.0 is the initial release of the game that popped up on itch.io before it was taken down. It can still be found online, just search for an "archive" of "Link's Awakening DX HD". Visit this link to see a changelog from v1.0.0. To use this patcher:
- Unzip the original v1.0.0 release of the game.
- Drop this patcher into the base folder alongside the executable.
- Open the patcher, hit the "Patch" button.
- After it is done, close the patcher.
NOTE: Windows defender and other virus programs may flag this patcher as a virus. I can assure you it is NOT a virus, and the source code for it can be found in this repository. You may need to add an exception to your virus scanner. If you do not feel comfortable with this, you can always build the latest version yourself.
