- S003 and W021 took time quadratic in the length of a run of spaces, such as
x &followed by thousands of spaces, because their regular expressions rescanned the run from every space in it. S003 took about 7 seconds for 8,000 spaces. On long runs of spaces, both now run in linear time and return the same findings
