What's New
- Fixed the desktop Home view's new-item state initialization
- Omi now offers to connect an integration when you open an app it works with — Gmail, Google Calendar, Apple Notes, Notion, Obsidian, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, X, or your local files — with what the integration would do for you and what Omi would read; every connector's sheet now shows the same 'What you get' detail, and you can turn the suggestions off or reset them in Settings → Notifications
- Proactive notifications now wait for something that changed, like a new blocker or approaching deadline, instead of repeating a standing status
- Added environmental speaker context analysis to detect multi-party calls and meetings from ambient speech
- Added voice barge-in interruption to halt playback immediately when the user begins speaking
- Made "where was that doc?" answer from the document itself — recent-work questions now resolve to the URL or file you were in, without decoding screen history first
- Added Accessibility to Settings → Permissions, so the permission Omi needs to identify the page or file you are in can finally be granted — and granting it now takes effect immediately instead of after a restart
- Fixed a crash that could quit Omi while you were using its own window, once Accessibility was granted
- Beta builds now use the improved meeting notes pipeline and calendar-aware participant identity by default
- Fixed screen search vectors never backfilling for accounts on the new lossless screen history
- Live suggestions and other AI features no longer fail silently when a pooled network connection goes stale
- Fixed gaps in synced screen activity when OCR or search indexing finishes after capture
- Fixed named development bundles keeping shortcuts that differ from Omi Dev
- Fixed Permissions showing Accessibility as granted when it was switched off, and added the Bluetooth, Full Disk Access, and Automation permissions the page never displayed
- Improved proactive notifications so work updates carry the exact on-screen name or handle when available
- Recent-work answers now say how long ago each visit was, in a form that costs a fraction of the previous timestamps
- Recent-work questions now answer from the document, page, or file you were actually in, instead of searching raw screen text
- Fixed recent-work answers misreporting how long ago you were in an app, and made an in-progress visit say that it is still open
