OMI Desktop v0.12.141

What's New

  • Added a canonical-entity Memory Atlas with a lightweight Memories-page preview, a dedicated full-page explorer, and adaptive zoom that only adds detail and ends with every visible entity labelled
  • Added a time axis to the memory atlas — press play to watch your memory grow, or scrub to see it as of any date; collapsed the duplicate center node into a single 'you'
  • Made Memory Atlas smoother to explore with compact controls, scroll zoom, keyboard shortcuts, and clearer replay pacing
  • Stopping an agent now also stops the delegated sub-agents it was waiting on
  • Chat errors now say what actually went wrong (out of credits, expired sign-in, connection lost, oversized attachment) instead of a generic "Something went wrong" — and only suggest retrying when a retry can help
  • Fixed Brain Map opening blank, and stopped it triggering an unrequested knowledge-graph rebuild, when the account's cohort had not been resolved yet
  • Selecting an entity in Brain Map now opens a side inspector with its connections and source memories instead of jumping to Memories, and opening a memory uses the same side panel rather than a popup
  • Brain Map now places single-connection entities as small burrs next to their one relationship and parks unconnected entities in a margin, instead of scattering them through the type constellations
  • Brain Map now merges duplicate connections between the same two entities into a single Connections row instead of showing one row per verb
  • The Brain Map now places entities by how related they are, so people, projects and places you actually think about together appear together
  • Omi can now surface live suggestions in the notch as you work — grounded in your memories, open commitments, and what you saw earlier. Off by default; turn it on in Settings.
  • Memory → Brain Map now opens the Memory Atlas for canonical-memory accounts, while other accounts keep the existing graph
  • Memory Atlas now names every entity on a small graph instead of leaving a third of them as unlabeled dots
  • Made the Memory Atlas readable on smaller accounts: entities spread across the canvas, every one is named, and the timeline is now a slim footer instead of taking a third of the window
  • A memory now opens in a side panel that shows where it came from, and cited memories in the Brain Map open straight to it
  • Crowded areas of the Brain Map now separate into distinct neighbourhoods instead of overlapping into one mess, and you are given room at the centre rather than being buried under everything connected to you
  • Escape now backs out of the Brain Map one step at a time — first the search, then the selection, then the neighbourhood you went into, then the map itself — and the island you are inside keeps its outline and shading while you zoom in and pick entities off it
  • Fixed the Brain Map header reporting a different entity and connection count than the map below it
  • Every Brain Map island now carries its name, written on the island itself and shortened to a single landmark; entities standing on a named island give up their own labels until you go into it, and going into one shows that island alone with its entities named
  • Brain Map neighbourhoods are drawn as islands with real coastlines instead of overlapping ovals, so a group that lives in two places shows as two islands and ground two groups share is left as water between them
  • The Brain Map now names the neighbourhoods it finds after the entities in them, so you can read your territories at a glance and click one to zoom straight into it
  • The Brain Map now groups your entities into visible neighbourhoods instead of gathering everything around you, so projects, places and the people you work with each read as their own cluster
  • The Brain Map now draws every connection instead of a few dozen, brighter inside a neighbourhood than between two, and fits the map to a square rather than stretching it across the window
  • The Brain Map no longer lets a handful of entities that appear in everything — your main project, your tools — crowd out the relationships that actually distinguish one part of your life from another
  • Brain Map neighbourhoods are now visible as territories rather than implied by position alone, the ones that genuinely own their ground are outlined, and unconnected entities ring the map from just outside it instead of the far edge of the canvas
  • Fixed the app freezing at the start of a push-to-talk turn when an audio driver stops responding
  • Improved Brain Map responsiveness by preparing graph layouts off the UI path and isolating the map from background memory refreshes
  • Fixed a chat rendering freeze that could occur while sending or scrolling through a conversation
