- Add iPhone Duo support with layouts that adapt to the closed display, open portrait, open landscape and partially folded positions, using the existing Apollo Reborn builds (#1245: @IllIIllIllIllII)
- Browse a feed beside its comments, choose Original or Focused content widths, and open the subreddit list in a Standard or Liquid Glass panel
- Inbox, Account and Settings gain sidebar/detail layouts in open landscape, while Search can keep results beside the page you open
- Pixel Pals is unavailable on Duo; regular iPhones keep it
- Add an optional iPad Layout (Beta) on iPadOS 18 and later, with a native sidebar, adjustable feed and reader columns, and full-width Gallery View (#1385: @jordanearle)
- Try it from the one-time invitation or turn on iPad Layout under Interface; quit and reopen Apollo to apply it, or turn it off to return to the classic layout
- Add Restore Reading Session to reopen your last feed, post and nearby reading position after iOS closes Apollo, including feed and comment sorting (#1441: @Thetromboneman1)
- On by default under Media → Browsing; explicit links and notifications take priority, and turning it off deletes the saved session
- Add a Setup Assistant for new installations to connect or restore, choose Classic, Balanced or Full Featured preferences, select appearance, and review before applying (#1401: @jordanearle)
- Existing users can open it from Apollo Reborn settings with Keep My Settings selected; updating does not automatically apply a preset
- Rework Gallery View with faster opening, pinch-to-resize tiles including a denser four-column layout, and native press-and-hold menus in the grid and fullscreen viewer (#1389, #1434: @icpryde, @IllIIllIllIllII)
- Sports clips can play silently in the grid, newly visible tiles start reliably, and returning from a fullscreen image no longer leaves a black screen

- Rebuild Recently Read as a native Apollo feed that follows your post layout, thumbnails, text size, themes, swipe actions and menus (#1442: @IllIIllIllIllII)

- Add Recently Visited subreddits to Search, with configurable section order and limits under Subreddits settings (#1404: @IllIIllIllIllII)
- History clears on restart or account change and is not saved to backups

- Tint Apollo Reborn maintainer usernames purple in posts, comments and the Inbox, while retaining their real profiles and normal moderator indicators (#1411: @IllIIllIllIllII)
- Make Bug Reports attach a removable debug log automatically, and mask usernames, account details, links and sensitive values before logs are exported or shared (#1422, #1423: @icpryde)
- Export Debug Logs now shares a file that can be attached on GitHub; subreddit names, post/comment IDs and diagnostic details remain readable
Performance
- Reduce unnecessary API-Key-Free requests by fetching subscriptions in larger pages and, with Reduce Rate Limiting on, batching feed avatars by page; interrupted subscription refreshes keep the existing list (#1416: @icpryde)
- Deleted or unavailable Bluesky previews stop repeatedly fetching themselves and using Reddit requests as a fallback

- Refine Duo navigation with steadier feed positions and search bars when columns change, a smoother subreddit drawer, correct Home/Popular/All restoration, and Reddit links opened from Settings routed to Posts (#1470: @nnastasi)
- Resume videos that were playing before folding or unfolding, covering both shared Reddit videos and direct-player media
- Center folded Duo title pills in the usable header and keep composer text clear of the right-hand system strip, with correct wrapping and height through folding and unfolding (#1480: @jordanearle)
- Keep the same Duo comments thread when returning from a linked subreddit after rotation or folding, and let the drawer return to an older retained feed correctly (#1464: @jordanearle)

Known issues
- Reddit currently blocks the API-Key-Free route used for Load More Comments and some post/subreddit lookups; the Inbox failure fallback above does not repair that route.
