Supported platforms:
- Linux with at least Qt 5.15 or Qt 6.4 provided and using a stacking window manager (x11 is preferred).
- Windows.
For the pre-built binaries that I uploaded here, only Windows and Ubuntu (22.04 and 24.04) pre-build binaries are provided. For other OS/distro, feel free to build from source code and use, macOS will probably also work without issue but it's not supported at all.

About this release:
While this release is a maintenance release, it still contains one new feature that allows you use light-color checkerboard by default. You can still use the old "holding shift and click" method to quickly toggle opposite color checkerboard and the new option is for people who don't think they'll need the dark checkerboard.
This maintenance release also contains a fix related to configuration file location. Previously when the Hi-DPI option was introduced, the configuration will be saved into an incorrect location if you are not using portable mode. The config file (config.ini) will be saved directly under ~/.config/ for Linux or %LOCALAPPDATA% for Windows, this release fixes this issue and it will be saved into a subfolder named Pineapple Pictures. You can simply delete the old configuration file if preferred since we don't have a lot of setting options.
Since this release, I'll no longer offer Qt 5 version binary release for Windows users on the GitHub Release page. If preferred, consider building it manually or get the Qt 5 binary on itch.io Store, but I still suggest using Qt 6 version instead. Qt 5 support will be dropped in the next release so consider this as the final migration release :)
For packager, please consider avoiding using the 0.8.2 tag since 0.8.2.1 (this release) contains a hotfix of a bug introduced in 0.8.2. Regular users can safely ignore this message since I haven't release 0.8.2 binary to anywhere.
