The last test build before 5.0. It is a pre-release: the app only offers it to
people on the beta update track (Settings, Updates).
Fixed
- A click on a film in Find did nothing. It opens the film again.
- Few or no releases for a film opened in another language. A film is now
searched under its translated, original and English titles, whichever way you
open it; punctuation no longer empties a search ("Philosopher's" found nothing
on The Pirate Bay); and a film's stream addons are asked by its IMDb id, as an
episode's already were. One Harry Potter page went from 8 releases to 201. - The recommended release was in the wrong language. A Russian "Dub", a
French "MULTI" or a Latin American "Dual-Lat" counted as a dub in yours. A box
set of every film is no longer the pick for one film. - Sound with no picture. The player switches to software decoding on its
own, and if there is still no picture it says so and offers an external
player. - A magnet with the VPN on could stall while direct downloads went on.
- The Pirate Bay's "No results returned" showed up as a release.
- "Because you watched" showed plain names instead of the titles' lettering.
- The recovery window opened blank, under the splash.
- Ctrl+A and Ctrl+V, the counters after deleting everything, Pause on finished
downloads, light theme toggles, and more from a tester's report.
New
- Releases open recommended first: the pick, then your language, then the
original, then other languages. Most seeded first is still in the menu. - Collections. A film's page shows the rest of its collection, the library
keeps them together, and when a film ends the player offers the next one. - Settings, Updates shows your version, the latest one, when it last
checked and what happened, with Check now. - Copy says what it copies, and copies a direct download's link.
- A menu bar in the title strip: press Alt, or keep it on in Appearance.
- Crash reports can be turned off in Settings, Security.
- Pictures of the app in What's new.
