Added
- One Add button where there were three. Paste a magnet, a link, an
info-hash or a path — several at once, one per line — and the field says what
it worked out as you type, because routing is the part a pasted link cannot
show you. Choosing a.torrentsits beside it at the same size, since most
people arrive with a file. - Folders in the file list when you add a torrent. Unticking one unticks
everything inside it, and a folder shows half-ticked when its files disagree.
The size follows what is ticked instead of staying at the torrent's total. - A magnet looking for its file list now says so, with the time it has been
looking, a turning marker and a bar that admits it has no percentage yet.
Before, it read as a download sitting at 0%. - Tiles say why a torrent is not moving: no peers, no seeds, stalled, an
incomplete swarm. The app worked these out already and only showed them on
hover, in list view. - Seeding says whether anyone is actually on the other end. "Seeding" to three
people and to nobody for two days used to look the same. - The category menu counts what is in each one and marks the one you are in,
which matters most for the categories you made yourself. - A short, permanent line about what sharing means, with the longer version in
the setup wizard and in About.
Changed
- Motion throughout: the command palette fades and grows, rows deal in once per
session, progress and the percentage glide between the engine's once-a-second
reports, a torrent finishing on screen gets a ring, and tabs share one sliding
underline. Static drop shadows are gone; borders do that work. Everything
respects reduced motion. - The progress bar lost its dark plate and its inner percentage. The poster
already darkens at that edge, so the plate was black on black; the number sits
beside a thinner bar and is legible whatever colour the fill is. - Settings moved in with Downloads, Find and HUB, because it is a page like they
are. What is left on the right is the VPN, which now says its state in words.
Donate moved to the footer: a link out is not navigation. - Monospace is for raw data only — hashes, paths, logs. Sizes, speeds and times
are set in the interface typeface with tabular figures. - One stroke weight across every icon, and one rule: solid means transport,
everything else is drawn in outline. Enforced by a check now, not by memory. - Cached covers and metadata are swept at startup once the torrents they belong
to are gone, including anything still in the removed history, which can be
restored. - Dismissing the setup wizard counts as having seen it. It was only recorded on
completion, so closing it once brought it back on every launch, for good.
Fixed
- Opening a magnet or a
.torrentfrom the browser, a file association or the
command line read freed memory: sometimes it added, sometimes it did nothing,
sometimes it took the app down with it. - Windows crash reports arrived with no backtrace. An uncaught C++ exception,
an abort, and two of the C runtime's own failure paths never reached the
handler, which is the kind of crash most likely to be worth reporting. - Settings written just before a crash or a force-quit could be lost, which is
one way the setup wizard came back. - Torrent states showed in English whatever the language was set to, when the
engine runs as a separate process. - A finished torrent kept showing a download speed for several seconds, because
the figure is a rolling average that fades rather than stops. - A torrent marked completed said nobody was connected to download it. It is an
archive; nothing is being offered. - A cover or a custom background that fails to decode now falls back instead of
leaving a hole or dimming the page over nothing. - Deleting the selected torrent left a gap in the grid: the side panel collapsed
while the tiles were still animating into a layout that no longer existed. - The first-run cover cascade played behind the wizard and was spent before
anyone saw it. - The percentage was hard to read on the amber and green bars, and invisible at
0%. - The category dropdown would not close by clicking it again, and appeared
without any animation. - Ctrl+K and the Get & Watch overlay drew underneath the pages.
