The changes below are described relative to version 1.15.0. Previously published releases after 1.15.0, including 1.16.1 and 1.17.0, are planned for retraction.

Features Added

• Upgraded API version from 2025-05-01 to 2026-01-01.
• Added resource APIs for address prefix sets, connection analyzers, connection policies, ExpressRoute LAGs, firewall policy Kubernetes selector groups, identity integration authentication policies, interconnect groups, and network manager configuration commits.
• Added models for Application Gateway advanced routing conditions, maps, and rules.
• Added strongly typed BastionHostPatch overloads to BastionHostResource.Update and UpdateAsync.

Breaking Changes

• This release contains breaking changes compared with versions 1.16.1 and 1.17.0.

Other Changes

• Migrated code generation from AutoRest to TypeSpec.
• Deprecated PolicySettings.CaptchaCookieExpirationInMins in favor of CaptchaExpirationInMins and hid the legacy property from IntelliSense. The legacy property forwards to the replacement property for serialization.
