1.3.0 (2026-10-27)
Features Added
- Added support for Vert.x 5.1.1 and 5.2 while retaining compatibility with Vert.x 4.5 and 5.0.
Bugs Fixed
- Fixed HTTP/2 requests with an explicit
Hostheader sending a conflicting URL-derived:authority. The override
now passes theHostvalue unchanged as:authoritywhile the connection still uses the request URL. - Fixed streaming responses reading and buffering data without downstream demand. Cancelling response consumption
now resets the HTTP exchange without closing unrelated HTTP/2 streams. - Fixed timeout resolution to prefer explicit builder values, then builder-specific configuration, then global
configuration, and finally SDK defaults. - Fixed a bug where requests with a streaming body, such as
Flux<ByteBuffer>orInputStream, would never be sent
when running with Vert.x 5.x. - Fixed response timeouts and request cancellation leaving HTTP exchanges active and occupying pooled connections,
including reset failures caused by incompatible method return types in Vert.x 5.x. - Fixed the SDK write timeout continuing to run after writing completed, incorrectly terminating slow responses.
- Fixed excessive retention of canceled write-timeout tasks during streamed uploads with many small buffers.
- Fixed
IllegalStateException: Result is already completebeing thrown when ending a streamed request body failed
after the request had already failed or completed, for example because the connection was closed.
