Italian is now available under Options → Appearance → Language → Italiano, with 1,078 translated Gear interface entries, including settings help, battle controls, Notes, the Store and Silph Connect.
The Italian translation is AI-generated. Terminology was checked against official Italian Pokémon sources, but the wording may still need corrections from Italian-speaking players. If you try it and notice an incorrect or unnatural translation, please open an issue with the current text, your suggested wording and, if possible, a screenshot. Reports of text that does not fit are welcome too.
- Added the missing Italian accented glyphs without changing existing font glyphs.
- Localized the HP bar labels and distinguished opening an app from an unfinished task.
- Checked Gen 1/2 Light/Dark previews for both skins, language persistence and localization coverage. The Italian test build was confirmed working on an AYN Thor.
Gear translates its own interface. Pokémon, move and item names and game dialogue come from the game or a separate translation mod.
