Make the right move before committing
Move-learning decisions no longer depend on remembering every attack by name. In both Gen 1 and Gen 2, press X or use the on-screen info control to inspect the incoming move and each existing move before choosing what to forget.
Battle controls that show what is actually usable
Unavailable attacks are now clearly marked as DISABLED or NO PP. When the move menu opens, Kanto Gear selects the next usable attack instead of leaving the visual focus on a blocked slot. Disabled moves remain inspectable, but cannot be selected accidentally.
Cleaner LOCAL progress
The enhanced LOCAL footer now shows the exact number of regular and hidden items still available on the current map or floor. The experimental trainer total was removed because scripted leaders, rivals, and rematches cannot yet be counted reliably; Kanto Gear would rather show less information than a misleading number.
The optional German and Spanish packs have been updated to 0.2.8 with translated unavailable-move labels.
Import kanto_gear-2.6.0.zip over your current Kanto Gear installation. Import one language ZIP only if you use that optional translation. No host update, save migration, or settings reset is required.
