Kanto Gear 2.4.0 — Know Where to Look
The Guide is now built around the encounter table that actually applies to
you. In Pokémon Gold and Silver, that means your current cave section, route
section and in-game time—not one misleading range blended from the entire map.
A Guide you can trust
- Encounter chances and level ranges now reflect the current section and time.
- The Guide names the exact section you are standing in.
- Pokémon available at another time or in another connected section remain
discoverable and are labelled clearly instead of appearing catchable now. - Open a Pokémon card for the full breakdown by section, time and encounter
method. - The header now shows local completion; the global Pokédex count remains in
the Trainer tab where it belongs.
Cleaner companion controls
- Cards that open more information now use one consistent
>affordance in
the Guide and Party tabs. - Gen 2's Trainer School blackboard now mirrors its native 3×2 layout and touch
targets correctly. - Small spacing fixes keep level ranges and compact Guide rows readable on
handheld displays.
Language packs
German and Spanish have been updated to 0.2.6 with every new Guide label.
They remain optional and install alongside the main mod.
