Opt-in live screen swapping

Kanto Gear no longer uses Y for live screen swapping unless you enable
SCREEN SWAP (Y) in its settings. The option is off by default so Kanto
Gear does not interfere with another mod that uses the same button.

Turning the option off while the displays are swapped immediately restores
the configured GEAR SCREEN route. The optional German package includes the
new setting label.

This hotfix uses the same matched
Gen1Recomp Android Test 0.1.79-kanto.9.
No host update is required.

Downloads

The German package is optional. Import only kanto_gear-1.8.2.zip unless you
specifically want Kanto Gear's own interface text in German.

Verified

• Gen 1 compatibility: 98/98 checks passed.
• Gen 2 compatibility: 13/13 checks passed.
• German integration: 7/7 checks passed; 279 catalog entries checked.
• Both archives passed strict Modkit validation; Kanto Gear passed the strict
  Gen 2 compatibility gate.
• The final archives match release commit e406ca5 and contain the opt-in
  swap setting and its German label.
• Default-off, enabled swapping and disabling an active swap were confirmed
  on AYN Thor.

This remains an unofficial Android public test release. Keep an exported save
backup. No ROM, ROM-extracted asset or save data is included.
