These files are for new installations. If Aster Mail is already installed, it updates automatically.
What's new
- On a Mac, you can choose to hide Aster Mail from the Dock and the app switcher when you close its window. To turn it on, go to Settings > Behavior, turn on Keep running when you close the window, and then turn on Hide from the Dock when you close the window.
- While Aster Mail is hidden, it keeps running in the menu bar. To open the window again, click the Aster Mail icon in the menu bar, open the app from the Finder, or click an email link.
- The setting is off by default, so Aster Mail stays in the Dock unless you turn it on.
Verify the APK
Every Aster Mail APK in this release is signed with the Aster release certificate. Before you install one, check that its signing certificate matches this fingerprint.

To check a downloaded APK on a computer, run apksigner verify --print-certs Aster-Mail.apk from the Android SDK build tools. The certificate SHA-256 digest line shows the same value in lowercase without colons. To check the app on your phone, use a verification app such as AppVerifier.
