What's new
- When a download finishes in the desktop app, a notification lets you open the file or show it in its folder. On a Mac, the button reads Show in Finder.
- Search has new filter chips, scopes, and date presets, so you can narrow results without typing search operators.
- When you add an external account, you can choose to import only new mail and leave existing messages where they are.
- Family plan members can change their primary address.
- To turn inbox categories on or off, open quick settings.
- Replies you send appear in the conversation right away, and you can undo a reaction.
Fixed
- You stay signed in to every account on the device when you add an account, switch between accounts, or sign back in.
- Printing from the desktop app works reliably.
- Links that the desktop app creates, such as family invitations and billing links, use the Aster Mail web address so they open for anyone you share them with.
- Messages that you move between inbox categories stay in their new category on every device.
- Mail encrypted with inline PGP opens correctly, including replies that quote an inline PGP message.
- Messages in dark mode keep readable text, lists, and backgrounds.
- You can no longer choose a snooze time or a scheduled send time that has already passed.
Verify the APK
Every Aster Mail APK in this release is signed with the Aster release certificate. Before you install one, check that its signing certificate matches this fingerprint.

To check a downloaded APK on a computer, run apksigner verify --print-certs Aster-Mail.apk from the Android SDK build tools. The certificate SHA-256 digest line shows the same value in lowercase without colons. To check the app on your phone, use a verification app such as AppVerifier.
