Cloud-First Ascend, Redesigned Settings & Store Accounts

Ascend has been redesigned around your cloud features, with a new top navigation, an Overview of your sync status and cloud tools, and cloud save backups you can restore or download straight from Ascend. Settings is reorganized into clear categories, and the game index now lives there too. You can also connect your Steam, Epic Games or GOG account to see every game you own in your Library, and a new guided import explains the easiest way to bring in games from other launchers.

Ascendara Core

• Connect your Steam, Epic Games or GOG account to see every game you own in your Library, even ones you haven't installed
• Open an owned store game to see its description and screenshots, then play or install it through its store
• Add Import from other launchers, which explains the two ways to bring in games and guides you through the right one
• Add Learn more links to the import and store account windows

Game Search

• Show a notice in Settings when an external source is active, with one click to switch back to the Ascendara index

• Add an Overview page with your cloud sync status, Sync now and Restore buttons, and quick access to every cloud tool
• Restore and download cloud save backups directly from Save Backups
• Show recently played games from your cloud library on the Overview
• Add a Community page with tabs for Friends, Requests, Find People and the Leaderboard

• Add a main Add game button to the Library sidebar and group less frequent actions under Library tools
• Show store games in the Library with the same cards as your other games
• Animate the highlight when switching views in the Library sidebar

• Manage the game index from Settings, under Game Index, instead of a separate page
• Turn External Sources into its own page with a simple on and off switch

• Replace the Ascend sidebar with a compact top navigation bar
• Move your status, Settings, Upcoming Update and Premium Features into the profile menu
• Group save backups by game with cover art, the latest backup first and older versions tucked away
• Filter save backups instantly as you type
• Regroup Premium Features around Cloud, with links that open each feature
• Keep search and sort visible while scrolling the Game Library
• Show friends, friend requests and search results as compact lists
• Give every Ascend page a consistent, cleaner look with simpler headers, stats and empty states

Ascendara Core

• Fix the game page crashing when going back to the Library
• Keep the warning for games that close right after launching visible after you leave the game page
• Measure play sessions more accurately when a game closes
• Fix downloads stopping when another program briefly locks the download progress file

• The separate Local Game Index page; old links now open Settings at Game Index
