Magnetar v2.1.0
Magnetar 2.1.0 focuses on making the toolbar, history, setup flow, and help experience more useful and consistent.
New
Recent sends in the toolbar
The toolbar can now show up to the last 20 sends, making it easier to check recent activity without opening the full settings page.
More useful history actions
History entries now include compact actions for common follow-up tasks:
- Resend a previous item
- Open the original source URL when available
- Delete individual history entries
History entries can also show the source domain when Magnetar is able to store it.
New Help button
A new Help button has been added to the toolbar. It opens the Magnetar Help page:
https://arrcee.com/magnetarhelp
The help page includes a toolbar guide, setup help, target explanations, manual send help, batch mode notes, privacy information, and troubleshooting.
Improved
Setup and onboarding polish
The setup flow has been restyled to feel more consistent with the main Magnetar settings page. It now better matches the extension’s cream, charcoal, and greyscale visual style.
Batch view improvements
The expanded batch view has been adjusted to give batch sessions more room and improve usability when working with multiple detected items.
Toolbar and history UI polish
History actions, toolbar controls, and supporting UI elements have been tightened so they better match Magnetar’s compact button and pill style.
Fixed
- Fixed issues where expanded toolbar details could fail to load after history changes.
- Fixed Batch controls becoming unreliable when moving between toolbar and expanded views.
- Fixed unclear history delete control text by replacing the old placeholder with a proper delete button.
- Improved handling for older history entries that do not have source URL data.
Privacy
Magnetar remains local-first. Settings are stored in the browser, and the extension does not use analytics, telemetry, or tracking. Provider requests are only made when you choose to send something.
