If you have 0.1.6, the launcher offers this update by itself (or use "Check now" on the Checks and log tab).
Otherwise unzip over the old folder or anywhere new, and run EternalVR.Launcher.exe. Your launcher settings
carry over.
What's new
- The aim dot is accurate at long range. It used to float at a fixed 10 m along your weapon hand's aim,
and since your eyes sit about 30 cm from your hand, far targets could be over a degree off the dot (most
noticeable with the Precision Bolt's scope). The dot now sits where your aim meets the world, so it lines up
with your shots near and far. Thanks to HansGruber45 for the report. - bHaptics: Flame Belch and equipment launcher. The Flame Belch used to play on the right of your chest;
it now pulses your left shoulder, front and back, where it sits. The equipment launcher had no haptic and
now gets the same pulse, a little weaker. Thanks again to thet0x1n. - DLSS tips. TROUBLESHOOTING and the launcher's "DLSS preset" tooltip now say where to start: preset K with
DLSS Quality on a fast card, J or K with Performance on RTX 20 and 30 series cards. - Game Pass black screen. TROUBLESHOOTING has the fix one player found: "Reduced color mode" in the
Compatibility tab of the game's.exeProperties.
Known issues
The full list is in
KNOWN-ISSUES. The
game's button prompts still name keyboard keys, and climbing a wall still turns with the stick only (both
being worked on). If the game's video menu ever shows DLSS as Off after you change DLSS in the launcher,
please send an Export report: I have not been able to make it happen on my side yet.
