Unzip over the old folder or anywhere new, and run EternalVR.Launcher.exe. Your launcher settings carry
over. This is the last time you need to update by hand: from this version on, the launcher tells you when a
new version is out and can download and install it for you.
What's new
- The weapon wheel on a button works. If you moved the weapon wheel to a button in "Edit controls..."
(a stick click, for example), holding that button now opens the wheel and your turn stick points at a
weapon, instead of turning you. Let go to pick it. Thanks to thet0x1n for the report. - The controls editor opens on your controllers. It now starts on the controllers of your last game,
so a Valve Index player edits the Index layout, not the Quest one. - Revenant aim with. A new setting under "Aim with" on the Play tab: the Revenant can aim with your
weapon hand or your head, apart from how you aim on foot. Head aim keeps its cannons out of your view when
you move around your play space. - bHaptics (experimental). Tick "bHaptics (experimental)" on the Play tab and run the bHaptics Player:
your shots kick on your gun arm (harder for the bigger guns), hits land on your vest from the side they
came from, and you feel a heartbeat at low health, glory kills and death. Untested on real hardware so
far, so please tell us how it feels. - Launcher updates. The launcher checks for new EternalVR versions (at most once an hour; you can turn
it off on the Checks and log tab) and installs them for you, with every file checked first. - Download DLSS from NVIDIA. On the Advanced tab, "Download from NVIDIA..." fetches a newer DLSS file
(310.9.1.0) straight from NVIDIA's GitHub after you accept their license. EternalVR does not include it. - Which DLSS preset? On RTX 20 and 30 series cards preset J (or K) is much faster than M; see
TROUBLESHOOTING for one player's RTX 3070 numbers. - The "Processor saver" is now called "CPU Saver", save backups work in long folder paths, and switching
launcher tabs is much faster.
Known issues

KNOWN-ISSUES. The
game's button prompts still name keyboard keys, and climbing a wall still turns with the stick only (being
worked on). Please tell us anywhere you get stuck.
