bab52b6809ec17a73d8cd55d198d513defc11303b9657031011f5b2cab917a9d - VirusTotal: scan report. One scanner (DeepInstinct) flags the mod DLL. It has flagged older builds on and off
too, and Windows Defender finds nothing in it.
If you have 0.1.6 or later, the launcher offers this update by itself (or use "Check now" on the Checks and log
tab). Otherwise unzip over the old folder or anywhere new, and run EternalVR.Launcher.exe. Your launcher
settings carry over.
What's new
- bHaptics: armor you pick up while you're at 0 armor is felt now (it was being mistaken for a respawn), the large
armor pickups hit at full strength, and runes give a crystal-style shock right after you pick the perk. The rune
timing is a first guess, so tell me how it lines up. Thanks thet0x1n for the log (#25). - If the game crashed during a VR session, the launcher now puts your own Reflections and Directional Occlusion
settings back instead of keeping a value the mod had set. Changes you make in the game's menu during a session
still stick. - The exported report now lists the other OpenXR and Vulkan layers that should load with the game (overlays and
injectors like ReShade, OBS, the Epic and GOG overlays), since those can cause problems I can't see otherwise.
The session summary also says when your headset took fewer frames than its refresh rate, and the log shows stalls
inside the VR runtime. - The 0.1.34 particle squares: I found what caused them. With
ETERNALVR_STEREO_FX_SYNC=1the right eye now draws
the snow in Cultist Base without them on my test PC. The sync stays off by default until it's been through more
levels and a headset.
Known issues
Parallel Eye Rendering (both eyes rendered at once) is not in this release's launcher yet: it is getting close,
but it still has bugs to fix first.
