If you have 0.1.6 or later, the launcher offers this update by itself (or use "Check now" on the Checks and log
tab). Otherwise unzip over the old folder or anywhere new, and run EternalVR.Launcher.exe. Your launcher
settings carry over.
What's new
- Blurry picture on some NVIDIA drivers. Drivers that offer the older form of the feature the mod uses to
render above the window's size (an RTX 3070 Ti on driver 581.80) rendered each eye at the size of the game's
desktop window. The mod now uses either form. If the launcher still says "Your graphics driver cannot render
above the window size" on an NVIDIA card, update the driver. - Game Pass. The game no longer crashes a second after it starts: a setting the launcher forced for the
Steam version is now set only there. - Flame Belch (Equipment aim with, issue #14). With where you look or your other hand chosen, the flames
and their damage start at the shoulder and go that way. Before, the flames followed the gun. - Melee aim with (issue #15). The punch now lands where you look or where your other hand points: the fists
follow the aim you chose during the punch. Not yet tried in a headset. - "[A] TO DISMISS" after loading a checkpoint is dismissed with A again.
- Aim dot.
- It stops where a shot hits: on demons, not on invisible walls a shot passes through, and not on edges a
shot clears. - With the hand at a wall or in cover it sits at the hand instead of far away.
- Scoped Heavy Cannon shots (and other weapons that fire from the barrel) go down the dot's line.
- It stops where a shot hits: on demons, not on invisible walls a shot passes through, and not on edges a
- Export report goes straight to the save dialog, says "Preparing..." while it builds, and shows the
saved zip in its folder. - Crash before the mod loads. When the game itself crashes before the mod is loaded, the launcher says so
instead of pointing at a VR setting.
Known issues
Parallel Eye Rendering (both eyes rendered at once) is not in this release's launcher: it still breaks the picture
in a headset.
