AlDente 1.40 Penne
Pro
- New: Manual Sleep Control. Keep your Mac awake on demand from the Popover widgets, for a set time or indefinitely. Your AI agents can keep working while you're away, even on the go. AlDente turns sleep back on once the battery drops to a level you choose, so your Mac never drains to empty.
- Simpler, faster Calibration Mode. The hold phase is gone. Instead, the charge phases now continue only until the battery is full.
- New "After macOS Calibration" setting. macOS sometimes charges the battery to 100% to calibrate it, and AlDente can't interrupt this. You can now choose what happens afterward: discharge back to your charge limit, or continue with a full AlDente calibration.
- Weekly schedules on specific days. Recurring weekly tasks can now run only on the days you pick.
- Scheduled tasks now show when they will run next.
- New advanced setting in Sleep Behavior: "Mute when Display is off and Sleep is Disabled." It prevents unexpected sounds while your Mac stays awake with the display off.
- New "Restore Window Layout on Relaunch" setting: the Dashboard reopens at its last size and position.
- New macOS 27 battery icon style.
- The "What's New" window now has a "Never Show Again" option.
- New: AlDente now shows the firmware version of your MagSafe 3 cable while it's plugged in (Popover → Charger, and Dashboard).
- New: “Last Full Charge” shows when macOS last recorded a full charge of your battery (Popover → Battery Health, and Dashboard).
- Fixed: After a macOS battery calibration, AlDente now continues right away with your chosen "After macOS Calibration" option. "Discharge to Charge Limit" works correctly again.
All
- Debug files are now zipped, so they attach reliably in Apple Mail. You can also open the saved file with the new "Show in Finder" button.
- General UI/UX improvements and bug fixes.
- AlDente's helper tool has been updated. You may be asked for your administrator password once after updating.
