New Features
- Dashboards — Added dashboards combining views from multiple databases, with movable and resizable widgets, shared filters, and personal filter changes. Local dashboards could reuse existing views; creating new widget views required a server connection.
- Charts and drill-downs — Added Number charts for workspaces with Pro features, expanded grouping and display controls, and drill-down tables for exploring a chart's records and saving the result as a filtered view.
- Page widths — Added full-width and custom-width formatting per document, shared with collaborators while retaining each user's default for pages without an explicit width.
- Image search results — Showed the image and matched text behind a search result, and opened documents at the matched image when the server supplied this information.
- Native update installation — Added user-initiated installation on macOS and Windows x64 when the server enabled it and supplied a signed update feed. Retained manual downloads when native installation was unavailable.
Improvements
- Database exports — Added A4, A3, Letter, and Legal paper sizes with portrait or landscape orientation. Paginated wide PDF tables at a readable size and exported the active view's visible fields and current rows, with support for complete offline caches.
- Board views — Added sorting within columns, column calculations, and backgrounds based on group colors.
- Images — Saved thumbnails and decoded images at their display size across documents and database cards, reducing the size of images held in memory.
- Translations — Updated interface translations and corrected Grid header and cell alignment in right-to-left languages.
Bug Fixes
- Preserved individual heading text during multi-block conversion, kept link formatting when editing URLs, and allowed read-only toggle blocks to expand without changing the shared document.
- Prevented moving subpages in the sidebar from sending them to Trash, and preserved external-link and date mentions when copying or exporting document text.
- Corrected row peek navigation and calendar row opening, focused newly added Grid rows for editing, and kept hidden Board groups usable during partial schema refreshes.
- Preserved document image sizes while scrolling and recovered missing or damaged media caches without losing image authentication.
- Prevented duplicated database content from uploading before its page was acknowledged by the server, and preserved database layouts when reopening views.
- Fixed PDF image reading with Ollama models that advertised vision support through their capabilities.
⚠️ Action Required
- Self-hosted workspaces still require AppFlowy Cloud v0.19.10 or later.
- Self-hosted dashboards require server support for the Dashboard layout. Before using more than twelve widgets or four widgets in one row, deploy the updated dashboard validation to every realtime server.
