MiSTer Companion v8.7.0
This release expands the update_all configurator, adds MiSTerEmby to the Install Center, and fixes BlueBridge flashing and HBMAME ROM checks.
update_all
- Added separate configuration options for game screenshots and title-screen artwork alongside boxart.
- Expanded database options, including MiSTer-devel Edge Linux, Maldita Castilla, Diablo, NBlood, Shmup Deck and CIFS Scripts.
- Added MiSTer Frontier filters for selecting PICO-8 and OpenBOR content.
- Removed the separate agg23 option, as these cores are included in MiSTer-devel.
- Updated database IDs, URLs and filter handling to match their sources.
MiSTerEmby
- Added the Emby media client to the Install Center, using the standard Downloader installation, update and file-check handling.
- Added an Add / Edit Server Address button inside the entry.
- Supports installation directly to MiSTer or an offline SD card.
Fixes
- Fixed Download & Flash doing nothing in BlueBridge’s Flash/Restore screen after finding an online release.
- Fixed valid HBMAME references, such as
/hbmame/puckman.zip, being rejected as unsafe by the Arcade ROM Checker. - Updated ROM checking and copying to respect folder references.
