MiSTer Companion v4.4.3 Released

MiSTer Companion v4.4.3 improves ZapScraper reliability, skip behavior, and rebuild handling for existing libraries.

Changes

• Improved ZapScraper skip behavior for existing metadata and artwork
• Reduced unnecessary ScreenScraper API requests when media already exists
• Improved scrape performance for large existing libraries
• Added proper rebuild-from-scratch handling when both skip options are disabled
• Improved gamelist save diagnostics and logging
• Added additional ZapScraper optimization and stability improvements

Note

If you previously used Skraper with your MiSTer library, it is recommended to remove existing gamelist.xml files and media folders before using ZapScraper. The two scraper formats do not always work well together.
