Bookshelf v3.0.0
This release adds a start menu: a customisable popup launcher for the home screen.
Start menu
- A menu button in the bottom corner of the shelf, in line with the page arrows. Tapping it opens a popup you build yourself.
- Add shortcuts to KOReader actions (history, reading calendar, Wi-Fi, night mode, sleep, and anything else in the action list), to other plugins (games included), or to Bookshelf's own menu.
- Group items into folders that fly out to the side.
- Long-press any item to rename it, change its icon, reorder, or delete it.
- Choose its position: left, right, or off.
- Works with touch and with physical-button (D-pad) devices.
Micro-modules
Small live panels you can drop into the menu:
- Clock
- Reading stats (today and this week)
- Quote of the day, taken from your own highlights, with the option to open the book at that highlight
- Random book, which rolls an unread book from the current shelf into the featured slot
Micro-modules are a small self-contained format; see the micromodules/ folder for the contributor guide.
Also in this release
- A "View bookmarks" link in the book long-press menu
- Flattened-folder chips
