Bookshelf is a full-screen home screen for KOReader. Open it from the file manager's top-level Bookshelf tab, or bind it to a gesture via the Dispatcher.
What you get:
- Book detail view -- your current book's cover fills the left column; the right column shows the title, author, series, and a progress bar. The detail lines are fully editable using a token system (
%title,%author,%page,%progress,%light_pct,%disk, and more, with conditionals and formatting). - Chip strip -- tabs to switch between Home, Recent, Favourites, Series, Authors, Genres, Folders, and Tags views. Each chip remembers its sort order independently.
- Shelf grid -- paginated 3x4 or 2x4 cover grid; swipe left/right to page, swipe up to collapse the book detail view and expand the grid.
- Search -- tap the search chip to find books, with grouped results for folders, authors, series, and genres.
- Long-press menu -- long-press any book cover for a context menu with "Go to Author", "Go to Series", "Go to Genre", and standard open/info actions.
- In-app updater -- checks GitHub for new releases and installs with one tap.
- Metadata -- reads from KOReader's Book Information Manager (BIM).
