If you have manually installed documents to the jsword folder on the SD card you need to enable these documents in Settings.
- Update to target SDK 27 (as required by Google)
- Use runtime permissions available in the latest Android library (Tuomas)
- Allow screen to be kept on (screen sleep time setting removed) (Tuomas)
- Round icons for recent versions of Android
