What's Changed
This beta bundles Aria2 Next 3.1.0: failed tasks stay failed across restarts instead of retrying on every launch, and redirected downloads get the name of the file they land on. It also fixes Linux package installs that a browser running as an AppImage pointed at itself, and declares macOS 11 as the minimum.
🛠 Improvements
- Aria2 Next 3.1.0 — a task that failed before you quit comes back as failed and is no longer retried at launch, so dead links stop producing a burst of errors (#802). A download without a server-supplied name that was redirected, such as
…/download/3.28→…/setup.exe, is saved under the final file name (#801). The Windows engine embeds version information and supports long paths where the system enables them - Toolbar order — "Remove missing records" sits before the bulk delete actions
- macOS requirement — the app declares macOS 11 as its minimum, so older systems get a clear message instead of a window that never appears (#805)
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Fixed Linux package installs started by a browser running as an AppImage taking that browser for Rayburst: link handlers, the extension's "Open Rayburst" and the login item opened the browser. A handler entry left pointing at another program is removed (rayburst-connect#106)
