What's Changed
This hotfix bundles Aria2 Next 2.8.6 across all six desktop targets to restore Windows downloads affected in 4.0.1-beta.2 and 4.0.1-beta.3.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Fixed the Windows engine crash with
0xC0000005(-1073741819) when starting HTTP/HTTPS downloads, which triggered engine recovery. The engine fix unifies Windows lock types while retaining asynchronous disk I/O (aria2-next#58).
