- Aria2 Next 2.6.8 — Updated the bundled engine for macOS, Windows, and Linux across x64 and ARM64.
- Native Windows engine cleanup — Replaced
cmd.exe,netstat,findstr,tasklist, andtaskkillwith native Windows TCP and process APIs. - Engine-owned BitTorrent metadata — Removed obsolete app-side uploaded torrent metadata cleanup.
- Smoother update actions — Added animated label and background transitions to the update dialog action button.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Windows shutdown stability — Prevented expected Windows session termination from triggering engine crash recovery or spawning new processes while the app is exiting, resolving the
0xC0000142shutdown dialogs reported in #567.
