What's Changed

This beta focuses on making proxy behavior deterministic and easier to understand. The download engine now uses explicit proxy settings only, avoids inherited environment proxy state, and keeps per-task proxy overrides aligned across settings, new tasks, task details, extension submissions, updater checks, and tracker requests.

Improvements

• Simplified proxy configuration to explicit direct/manual modes and removed inherited environment proxy behavior
• Added structured HTTP proxy authentication fields and applied them consistently to engine and app-side network requests
• Added per-task proxy overrides for Add Task and Task Detail while keeping Settings as the default template
• Clarified proxy scope in Settings, including HTTP-only support and BT/ED2K peer connection limitations
• Improved engine startup determinism by clearing proxy environment variables and emitting empty proxy options when proxy is disabled
• Kept README updates with clearer project header placement, Trendshift badge, and Scoop installation instructions

Bug Fixes

• Fixed proxy conflicts where launching Motrix Next after proxy tools could leave downloads stuck at zero speed
• Fixed disabled proxy settings not fully clearing engine-side proxy state on startup or restart
• Prevented unsupported SOCKS proxy values from being forwarded to the engine
