What's Changed

This release brings a redesigned About panel, a refined update flow, enhanced notifications, and a fix for the Windows maximize gap — consolidating all improvements from the beta cycle.

✨ New Features

  • Redesigned About panel — App & aria2 version badges with one-click copy, unified Lucide tech stack icons (app-window, layers, shield, leaf), and staggered entrance animations
  • aria2 version loading animation — Spinner with smooth transition while fetching engine version; shows localized "Unavailable" on failure instead of bare v—
  • Three-phase update process — Separated download and install steps with explicit engine shutdown for reliable in-app updates
  • Sponsor call-to-action — Added "Buy Me a Coffee" link in README and website hero section

🛠 Improvements

  • Windows maximize fix — Transparent frameless windows no longer show gaps when maximized; border-radius and border are dynamically removed via onResized + isMaximized() detection
  • Engine stopped notification — Upgraded from info (blue) to warning (yellow ⚠️) for better visual distinction
  • Speedometer refinement — Background changed from pure black/white to warm M3 surface-container tones; position equalized (20px from right and bottom edges)
  • About description simplified — Now matches website tagline: "A full-featured download manager — rebuilt from the ground up"
  • Task state checks — Resume/pause-all actions now verify task states before executing

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed v— display — aria2 version badge no longer shows a bare v prefix during loading or on error
  • Fixed version flash — About panel re-fetches aria2 version each time it opens, not just on mount
