Summary

Aria2 Next 3.0.4 brings back Thunder links, adds moving unfinished downloads, a suffix for unfinished files, browser-style numbered names and the classic results table that frontends such as Scoop read, and lets downloads that hit a busy server get their connections back quickly. Release assets cover the same seven platforms.

Added

• thunder:// links are accepted again wherever a URI is, including aria2.probe; 3.0.0 had dropped them. Trailing slashes and missing or escaped padding are tolerated, and non-ASCII bytes are sent percent-encoded as written, so links with GBK names keep working.
• aria2.moveDownload(gid, dir) moves an unfinished download's files to another directory. A running download pauses for the move and resumes afterwards; if the move fails, the files go back.
• --incomplete-suffix gives unfinished HTTP and SFTP files a suffix such as .part, which is removed when they complete.
• --auto-file-renaming-style=parentheses numbers taken names name (1).ext, as browsers do. The default keeps aria2's name.1.ext.
• --download-result=default|full|hide prints aria2's "Download Results" table on exit, in the layout Scoop and other frontends parse. When the output is piped, progress prints one line per second, as aria2 does (#70).

Fixed

• After a server answers 503, a download's connection cap now doubles back after 5 calm seconds instead of returning one connection every 30 s. Large video downloads no longer stay slow after the audio and subtitle downloads beside them finish (#71).
• A failed asynchronous RPC call now answers with an error instead of no answer.

Changed

• The --daemon help notes that service managers such as systemd, NSSM or WinSW should run the engine in the foreground, since they track the process they started (#69).
