Summary
Aria2 Next 3.0.2 restores compatibility that 3.0.0 lost. XML-RPC is back, so Sonarr, Radarr and other clients that use /rpc connect again. Configuration files that write a flag on its own line, such as continue, work as they do with aria2, and --daemon now runs on Windows. Release assets cover the same seven platforms.
Fixed
- XML-RPC on
POST /rpcis served again, as it was in 2.x (#68). Calls reach the same methods as JSON-RPC, including the token secret andsystem.multicall, so Sonarr and Radarr no longer fail with 404. - A flag written on its own line in a configuration file, such as
continueorremote-time, is read astrue, as aria2 reads it, instead of stopping the engine withexpected name=value(#66).-hand-vnow answer before the configuration file is read, so a bad file no longer hides them. --daemon=trueon Windows starts the engine in the background instead of exiting withCannot run as a daemon(#67).
Changed
- Release builds and CI no longer start a BitTorrent session over RPC before publishing; unit tests still run.
