Summary
Aria2 Next 3.0.10 fixes BitTorrent tracker scheduling and multi-connection HTTP downloads from servers that rotate their entity tags. Torrents with mixed UDP and HTTP trackers announce in the right order again. Builds can now be installed through a Homebrew tap. Release assets cover the same seven platforms.
Fixed
- Preferring a UDP tracker on the same host as an HTTP tracker now swaps their tiers instead of moving the UDP tracker across tiers. The broken tier order could leave an overdue tracker unannounced and make the tracker timer fire repeatedly (#77, #79).
- Trackers whose scheme this build cannot use are skipped instead of keeping the tracker timer spinning (backport of libtorrent#8957).
- Trackers added through
--bt-trackerbeyond tier 255 share the last tier instead of wrapping around ahead of the torrent's own trackers. - A server that sends a new strong ETag with every response, while the length and Last-Modified stay the same, no longer collapses a download to one connection. Such responses are validated by date, and requests sent under an old tag are asked for again (#82).
Added
- macOS and Linux users can install the release binaries with
brew install aninsomniacy/aria2-next/aria2-next. Each formula pins the published SHA-256 checksums (#80).
