Summary
Aria2 Next 2.8.6 is an emergency fix for a Windows download crash affecting 2.8.4 and 2.8.5. Windows users should upgrade to 2.8.6.
Fixed
- Fix engine termination with
0xC0000005(-1073741819) when starting HTTP/HTTPS downloads, which also triggered Rayburst's engine recovery (#58). - Unify Windows build definitions and remove obsolete Windows XP definitions so Boost.Asio creates and uses the same lock type across source files. Asynchronous disk I/O is retained.
Added
- Add an executable HTTP smoke test covering CLI and RPC downloads, file checksums and clean shutdown.
The fix was verified on Windows x64 with real CLI/RPC downloads and 760 native test cases.
