Summary
Improves parallel HTTP downloads through signed redirect links and over uneven IPv4/IPv6 paths, reduces slow completion tails, and fixes Windows event-loop crashes and CRLF input handling. No CLI, RPC, or saved-state migration is required.
Fixed
- Reuse validated redirect destinations for subsequent ranges instead of repeatedly requesting the original signed entry URL. Refresh rejected destinations through a single in-flight request per source route while preserving healthy transfers and retry delays.
- Let idle workers split the largest unfinished range without waiting for a throughput sample. Small stalled tails can now be reassigned even when they have received fewer than 64 KiB.
- Preserve the earliest requested event-loop wakeup so a later libcurl timer cannot postpone work already due.
- Fix a Windows event-loop crash caused by inconsistent Winsock header initialization across translation units.
- Parse CRLF input lists without retaining carriage returns that interfere with blank lines and per-download options.
Changed
- Share one range queue across bounded IPv4/IPv6 workers for unrestricted parallel HTTP downloads. Workers retain their address-family choice across ranges, allowing faster workers to take more work without switching other active transfers. Existing connection limits and explicit network settings remain effective.
- Preserve the original origin boundary for HTTP credentials and manually supplied Authorization and Cookie headers when opening ranges directly at a cached redirect destination. Cookie storage and connection reuse remain managed by libcurl.
Added
- Native Windows x64 HTTP validation support, with regression scenarios for single-use redirects, expired destinations, cross-origin credentials, and changing dual-stack transfer speeds.
