Summary
This release strengthens Windows DNS reliability and keeps release asset publishing focused on standalone binaries. Docker image publishing is now a separate manual workflow that builds from the latest GitHub Release Linux binaries and pushes latest plus the version tag to GitHub Container Registry.
Added
- Added a manual Docker workflow for publishing
ghcr.io/aninsomniacy/aria2-next:latestand the matching version tag from the latest GitHub Release assets. - Added a runtime-only Docker image assembled from the maintained Linux x86_64 and Linux ARM64 release binaries.
Changed
- Decoupled Docker publishing from the main Release workflow so container publishing cannot fail the standalone binary release pipeline.
- Replaced the legacy Windows MinGW Docker build context with the maintained Linux runtime container image definition.
- Updated documentation to show the default Docker command using the
latesttag. - Pinned the maintained c-ares release baseline to
1.34.5.
Fixed
- Fixed the Windows async DNS regression seen with c-ares
1.34.6, where downloads could stall until users disabled async DNS.
