Summary
This release substantially improves ED2K interoperability for large-file downloads and Kad-sourced peers, with stronger peer request negotiation, callback routing, and protocol coverage. It also tightens release workflow validation so supported artifacts are checked more consistently before publication.
Added
- Added ED2K multipacket and extended multipacket support for peer file request negotiation.
- Added ED2K direct callback request handling for Kad type 6 sources.
- Added focused ED2K tests for multipacket exchange, callback routing, obfuscated handshake behavior, and large-file part requests.
- Added CI validation for required runner tools before release jobs proceed.
Changed
- ED2K peer startup now follows a more complete aMule-compatible request chain for filename, file ID, source exchange, AICH, hashset, upload start, and part data flow.
- Large-file ED2K part requests now use the eMule protocol marker for 64-bit part ranges.
- ED2K TCP obfuscation key generation now matches the aMule byte order used by real peers.
- Kad source logs now report the selected route as tcp, direct-callback, or buddy-callback.
- Manual release validation can choose a build profile explicitly.
Fixed
- Fixed direct Kad callback payloads using port 0 when the ED2K TCP listener was assigned a runtime port.
- Fixed overly aggressive TCP obfuscation startup for peers that only advertise encryption support.
- Fixed ED2K large-file peers stalling after source discovery because the client sent too little of the expected request sequence.
- Fixed release runner diagnostics so missing tools fail early with clearer output.
