Summary

Aria2 Next 2.4.2 improves P2P sharing behavior across ED2K and BitTorrent, with ED2K upload accounting now reported through the standard task progress fields used by RPC clients. This release also includes HTTP tail scheduling improvements for long-running segmented downloads.

Added

• ED2K sharing uploads now update per-task uploadSpeed and uploadLength, matching the standard RPC fields used for BitTorrent tasks.
• P2P share-only controls are now exposed through --detach-share-only for both BitTorrent and ED2K.
• ED2K completed tasks now expose seeder=true through progress reporting when they are actively sharing.

Changed

• --seed-ratio and --seed-time now apply to ED2K sharing as well as BitTorrent seeding.
• ED2K sharing source lookup was simplified around the active task model and the old shared-store path was removed.

Fixed

• HTTP segmented downloads can reclaim stalled tail segments instead of waiting indefinitely on the last slow connection.
• ED2K share-ratio stopping now uses real task-level uploaded bytes.

Breaking Changes

• --bt-detach-seed-only was removed. Use --detach-share-only instead.
