Summary
Aria2 Next 2.4.1 expands K/M unit parsing across size and speed options. Users can now pass decimal values such as 1.5M or 0.5K; values are converted to integer bytes and fractional bytes are rounded down.
Changed
- Decimal K/M values are now accepted by unit-based size and speed options, including rate limits, disk cache size, split size, RPC request size, socket receive buffer size, and mmap limit.
- Malformed unit values with trailing text after the unit, such as
1K2, are rejected instead of being partially parsed. - CLI help and the English manual now document decimal unit support and the round-down rule.
Fixed
--max-download-limit=1.5M,--max-upload-limit=0.5K, and similar decimal unit values no longer fail option parsing.
