Summary
Aria2 Next 2.3.6 refines runtime logging and metadata-driven download behavior. This release adds separate terminal and file log level controls, keeps default logging quiet for noisy scheduler details, clarifies remote torrent handoff behavior, and fixes browser JSON-RPC CORS responses for integrations.
Added
- Added
--terminal-log-levelto control terminal log verbosity independently. - Added
--file-log-levelto control rotating log file verbosity independently. - Added documentation and shell completion for the new log level controls.
Changed
--log-levelnow acts as the shared default for both terminal and file logs unless a sink-specific override is provided.- BitTorrent resume-state messages now identify themselves as BitTorrent resume files and stay out of default info-level output.
- Remote
.torrentmetadata handoff now logs when metadata is saved and when the BitTorrent task starts.
Fixed
- Fixed JSON-RPC CORS headers so actual
/jsonrpcresponses include the same CORS policy as preflight responses. - Fixed dynamic RPC log reconfiguration so partial log option updates keep existing global log settings.
- Reduced noisy internal scheduler messages from default terminal output.
