latest releases: v3.0.7, v3.0.6, v3.0.5...

Summary

Aria2 Next 2.3.5 refreshes the transport runtime and release packaging for standalone desktop use, with targeted fixes for HTTP/ED2K speed reporting, BitTorrent resume statistics, Linux release compatibility, and log-level behavior across console and file output.

Changed

  • Linux release artifacts now use static musl builds instead of static glibc builds, avoiding glibc/NSS resolver crashes on rolling distributions with systemd NSS modules.
  • Release dependency setup and runtime dependency checks were tightened for the maintained standalone artifact set.
  • Console and log-file verbosity now use the same log-level handling path.
  • Legacy native HTTP scheduling, URI selector, server-stat, and adaptive concurrency leftovers were removed after the libcurl transport migration.

Fixed

  • Fixed BitTorrent resume statistics so restarted seeding sessions no longer report impossible multi-GB/s transfer rates from historical completed bytes.
  • Fixed HTTP/ED2K live speed calculation to keep the old smooth 10-second window while suppressing cold-start spikes from sub-500ms samples.
  • Fixed single-URI split retries after the curl migration so large downloads do not fail with No URI available after initial request copies are consumed.
  • Fixed ED2K burst traffic display so short active gaps do not immediately force download speed to zero.
  • Fixed release build setup that required xz for dependency archive extraction.

Breaking Changes

  • Removed legacy options and behavior tied to the old native HTTP scheduler, including adaptive URI/server-stat selection and obsolete HTTP pipelining/keep-alive controls.
  • Removed compatibility with the old separate console log-level option; --log-level is now the single log-level control for console and file logging.
